Andrea Communications USB-C Audio Adapter is an external soundcard that accepts both computer headsets with pink and green plugs and mobile headsets with a single black plug (TRRS), as well as microphones with both (or either) TRRS and TRS plugs and external speakers.
 
The USB-C Audio Adapter uses high-quality digital circuitry to bypass the computer's internal sound system. Internal sound cards are often placed near noisy components, such as power supplies and processors which can generate audible noise affecting the performance of your headset, microphone or speakers.
